Once the wedding is rescheduled, the original policy expires and no premium is returned. You can take out a new policy for the new date.
Questions & answers
Cancellation cover (Section 1) is for non-refundable costs when the wedding can't go ahead at all. Rescheduling cover (Section 2) is for the extra cost of moving it to a new date instead. Rescheduling only triggers after a covered cancellation reason, so the two work as a pair.
